‘Dictator' is the incendiary red vinyl single from Leeds finest rabble rousing agitating, and damn right magnificent, punk band The Terminals. The song opens up with a Doo Wop/ Buddy Holly style melodic intro and then bursts into a massive surge of energy as The Terminals throw out their Molotov Cocktails of deranged rock'n'roll detailing the rise and rise of a viscous 'Dictator'.

‘There's one government and no election'…

‘A Fucking Big Palace is what he's got'…

‘I wanna be a dictator'…

The black humour of the lyrics and the TNT quality of the guitar work melds to rocket out a righteous racket against tyrannical bastards. To put it bluntly, the guitar chords are fucking massive, like a collision of The MC5, The Clash, Raw Power era Stooges and The Damned, fucking rabid rock'n'roll. Bring on the fucking revolution as ‘Dictator' is a fucked up berserker of a tune. B-side Repeated Offender is another killer tune, but with a loved up punk vibe. The great lyrics and the pop punk driving chords make this a mighty fine love ditty, as the Pistols style riffs roll along side the chugging chords. Our lover calls out

Forensic Scinece will prove

I'm the one you want

'Cause when it comes to you

I'm a repeat repeat offender.

The massive chorus is catchy as hell and the fucked up scuzzed up solo, with wheezing noises, is a winner. By Beelzebub's Bollocks, you must get this single, as it fucking awesome. If you can, see the Terminals live, as they are the best live band in Leeds by a massive margin.
