"Some Best Friend" what makes this man stand out, it could be the amazing piano work on 'Magnetic Fields' alone, but to ignore the vocals and you'll miss the point ,on the demo we received, we found really nice honest pop tunes, the more we listened the more that voice grew and the more the songs opened up.

Mellow Hell Yeah But

'Magnetic Fields' was mellow yeah BUT its arrangement and production blew me away, it was a nice retreat from sometime 100 mph Britpop that we cover here,the stand out tune however was 'Island' this is where we really get to hear some of the most thoughtful songwriting and the most charming vocals, Ed Ling not only sings on these tunes, he plays everything you can imagine, talent indeed.
