Well we have come acorss The Social whose 'London Is Divivded' reminds us very much of Johnny Marrs Happy-Sad guitar work ,but hang on there's nothing WRONG about these tunes, the Guitar riffs are more than uplifting, and Laurence Hussey- Vocals are magical, blending the charm of The Smith with the tones of Davide Silivan from 'Japan'
Wet August day camping
This track would not have hoovered in the lower regein of the charts back then and with the right promotion this band have that VERY differnt angle over many of the current crop of bands.'Under Grey English Skies' sounds about as inviting as a Wet August day camping in England ,but yet again the vocals take it to another level and the guitar work is so jolly, infact I have not heard something as different to this for some time and look forward to hearing more..
