Harsh where's the melody Gone Blending Ska over tunes with indie Guitars is nothing new take 'SPUNGE' they have the blue print for that, but throw in twists of Punk and a dash of Rough and ready sex and you'll get the picture, where's the melody gone, well it's gone nowhere, I was amazed to hear 'Inbred' the screaming intro of '1 2 3 FOUR' not heard anything with that much energy since I first heard the Clash many moons ago, but 'Inbred' throws itself around well enough, crumbs I hope Suggs ain 't reading he'll be after royalties on 'Inbred' that tunes owes very much to those Nutty Boys than a winking nod. What a voice Alfred Charles Vincent Smith - Vocals there's a mouthful, really works the songs well, he is more than cool, he's Ice cold,and any Man that can prance around without his shirt o and look that good is alright by us.Britpop this is not, its not part of any current trend 'Girlfriends Grinning' made me want to skank around the office and as with other Skallywags tunes it's full of tongue in cheek charm, I'm surprised that every Music mag and music site is not writing about this band.One of those bands that come along every now and again and the buzz starts to build until the band are un-stoppable.
