With 6 releases under their belt and the singing to New Yorks indie label Rainbow Quartz They were soon off visiting cities like Vienna, Liverpool, London, New York, Madrid and Barcelona .
From Their Site " The Jessica Fletchers was formed during 1997. The original set up was: Bjørn Rune Lie, Vegard Syrstad, Andreas Mastrup, Thomas Innstø and Rune Somdal. The guys had just about had enough of the music scene in suburban Drammen outside Oslo, consisting mainly of metal, prog-rock and punk bands, and decided to do something about it. After playing some local pubs and clubs it didn't take long before they headed for the studio, recording their self financed "unofficial" debut album "I can shoot you from here".
Currently doing some song writing & recording for their next release. Two songs have already been prepared secretly in Germany at Claus Grabke's Upstairs Studio. Their single "Summer Holiday & Me" gets tons of airplay in radio stations all over. Viva Switzerland, MTV Spin Germany, Sat Eins Germany and over 35 stations in US & Canada play the video, and they are still climbing charts. Watch out for these guys! They might be showing up in your neighbourhood soon.
