Little Man Tate

The Sheffield quartet do a rather natty line in subversive pop songs about text sex, cross-dressing footballers and ménage et trios. Nice work if you can get it. Little Man Tate are named after a dodgy Jodie Foster movie which most people haven't seen. Why remains a mystery, only the boys know and they're not telling.

The band site early Britpop as a major influence with bands like Inspiral Carpets and Stone Roses.. Sounds good...

my fave bands

The amount of bands that are fueling the nation with Great Guitar Pop seems never ending and for a site like ours that's Great. Little Man Tate are fast becoming one of my fave bands and with the New CD single 'I hate Your Band' poised for November release we simply could not skip the fact , what band and what a blinding tune.

One Two..Action

Recently Vocals have played a Big part in influencing our choice of feature bands/review features, bands with a stand out Vocalist, well Little Man Tate have that with Jon Windle a one off indeed. 'Man I cant Stand your band' as the tune is otherwise known, is nothing more than 4 mins of rocking Pop, every trick used from the stop-start firing Guitars.There's also a hint of melody here, but not as much on some of the bands other offerings.
