So the Draytones, we spoke about them a year or so ago, rated their very British sound and hey it seems everyone is catching on..

The Draytones - Forever On (1965)

Keep Loving Me's guitar work and Out Of This World's vocals are magic Ray Davies 'Kinks' influenced dittos, and Keep Loving me rocks and rolls along the sleazy Guitar highway in defo Retro style mayhem, the twangy Guitar/Feed back galore and vocals work so well together. It's much more than some clever attempt at Mod revival or another Britpop re-start.

1960's infusion

You can't ignore that the bands name and the whole stance is looking backwards more than forwards, lots of bands have done that, and the Draytones manage to do it with a 1960's/2007 infusion that more than works. Gabriel Boccazzi has a voice that brings foot tapping fun to your CD.What the band do on 'Time' is show that there is a mellow side to the band, reminds me of the Beatles in places, great harmonies and 'Not Alone' throws a mersey sound , it's retro yeah but it also gives a taster of what The Draytones could become and I one think they might just be huge...now I've gone and done it..
