'Rehab' how very apt hey, if that had been the current single I would have had a right old chuckle,but put all the drugs a side (till later) and on the 4th single ' Tears Dry on Their Own' all the stops have been well and truly pulled out, from the deep Soul vibe in Amy's voice to the Groovy Lounge back beat, we have to be thankful that someone is making sounds this good. Getting my kicks out on the floor
I'd think that this will become a modern Classic and a tune for now and a tune for the future, if this becomes lost at some time it will be rediscovered and loved, its so much more than a 60's rehash- or revival, indeed it's that clever though its no 'Out on the Floor' but there is some sheer magic in that voice and backing sound you can sidestep the Vocals as well and really listen to all that's going on behind THAT voice, its well arranged and produced, there are some moments of magic in that sound. .It's a foot stomper, a mood maker and it has one of those happy go lucky Summer vibes, yeah 'Tears Dry on there own' is a soul stomper for the naughties.
